Lead in Drinking Water
Lead in drinking water is a possible cause of various health problems. Although the use of lead pipes in houses has been banned in Switzerland for over 100 years, contamination from this heavy metal can still occur – especially in older buildings where pipes may still be made of lead. Under no circumstances should lead-contaminated water be consumed. If you suspect lead in your drinking water, you should also avoid using this water for cooking, washing clothes, or doing dishes.
➤ The Baby Water Test also allows for the detection of lead content in drinking water.
